Components of the intelligent care room
The Intelligent Care Room consists of analogue and digital components and concepts that are fully effective when used together as a system solution.
The core elements of this modular solution include
- Networking and integration platform: MCD forms the centrepiece of the intelligent care room and enables smooth networking and integration of all components.
- The stand-up nursing bed: A specially developed care bed that supports the patient when getting up and thus promotes independence. It relieves the burden on carers and gives patients more autonomy and comfort.
- The employee app Doku2Go:This app enables carers to manage all relevant information and care documentation directly on their mobile device. This reduces the amount of documentation required and gives carers more time for direct patient care.
- The patient app Doku4Me:The patient app offers patients and relatives the opportunity to check their own health data.
- Various sensor devices: Various sensors continuously record important vital parameters of the patients and automatically report any abnormalities.
Careful Edge X – Wie Forschung die Weiterentwicklung des intelligenten Pflegezimmers vorantreibt
Damit das intelligente Pflegezimmer kontinuierlich weiterentwickelt werden kann, beteiligt sich C&S aktiv an innovativen Forschungsprojekten. Eines davon ist Careful Edge X (2022–2025), in dem wir gemeinsam mit Fraunhofer IMS, der Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg (FAPS), Bock GmbH und Medisana GmbH neue Technologien zur kontaktlosen Vitaldatenerfassung erforscht haben.
Im Mittelpunkt steht ein Edge-Computing-basiertes System, das Vitalwerte wie Puls, Sauerstoffsättigung und Atemfrequenz direkt am Pflegebett oder mit Hilfe eines Pflegeroboter erfasst und lokal verarbeitet – sicher, energieeffizient und datensparsam.
Für das intelligente Pflegezimmer bedeutet das:
- mehr Entlastung bei Routinemessungen,
- bessere Datenqualität durch multisensorische Erfassung,
- höchste Datensouveränität, da sensible Gesundheitsdaten nicht unnötig übertragen werden.
Die Ergebnisse von Careful Edge X fließen bereits heute in die Weiterentwicklung unserer Digitalisierungsplattform MCD und der Konzepte rund um das intelligente Pflegezimmer ein.
So stellen wir sicher, dass unsere Lösungen nicht nur dem aktuellen Bedarf entsprechen, sondern die Pflege auch langfristig mit innovativen, praxistauglichen Technologien unterstützen.
