Doctors can use the platform to access vital signs, wound documentation and the medication plan, while doctors' orders are transferred directly to the documentation. MCD offers a pioneering solution for integrating televisits and teleconsultations directly into the care process. The direct recording of vital data such as ECG, blood pressure and oxygen saturation makes it possible to continuously monitor the patient's state of health without them having to leave the house. This promotes early detection of problems and enables an immediate response.
Another highlight of MCD is the integration of a support network that operates outside the telematics infrastructure (TI). This ensures that, that patients can involve their informal support networks (neighbours, visiting services, etc.) in their care. This enables efficient and flexible cooperation between the various organisations for the best possible holistic care.
