Household health centre
The household health centre
Living, caring and nursing at home
Many people want to live independently in their own home for as long as possible. Our vision of the household as a healthcare location includes the networking of care (nursing) and cure (medicine) in people's own homes and is realised with projects such as TEAM-X driven forward. When health data is collected on the basis of Gaia-X can be used safely and sensibly by patients and healthcare professionals, this opens up new avenues in prevention, personalisation and aftercare.
The idea of the household as a healthcare location is based on an intelligent combination of nursing and medical services directly in the patient's home environment. This means that elderly or chronically ill people do not necessarily have to move into care facilities, but can stay in their familiar home for as long as possible. The advantage is obvious: those affected retain their familiar surroundings and their autonomy, while at the same time receiving professional care.
The integration of technologically supported supply and intelligent home technology
The household living space and health location is a concept with which we make our experience in the use of assistance systems in care available.
By using modern technologies such as intelligent sensors, which can recognise falls and call for help immediately, or telemedicine, which enables regular monitoring of vital functions, we can significantly improve people's safety and quality of life. On the basis of the MCD networking and integration platform we enable care facilities and other institutions to get started easily and sustainably. Not a stand-alone solution, but a networked modular system solution including integration into the telematics infrastructure that enables all relevant data to be used and shared securely and efficiently.
The combination of interdisciplinary concepts from the housing, health and care sectors as well as technical platforms for care, security and other supplementary services can help to solve the complex challenges of an ageing society. Cooperation between different players and the utilisation of shared resources can create synergy effects that benefit everyone involved.
Advantages of the household as a healthcare location
Maintains patients' ability to function. This is achieved through preventive measures aimed at recognising and treating health problems at an early stage before they worsen.
Our concept helps to maximise quality of life by promoting the independence and social participation of those affected. This is not only beneficial for the patients themselves, but also for their relatives.
By utilising the latest technologies and close cooperation between the various service providers, we can ensure that patients receive the best possible care in their home environment.
Instead of replacing existing systems, we build on them and integrate them into a comprehensive network. This enables a seamless supply chain that covers all aspects of care and ensures that there are no gaps.
