C&S will present the results of its three-year research project in Erlangen on 27 March.
‘TEAM-X – Trusted Ecosystem of Applied Medical Data eXchange – Perspectives for the EHDS’ was the title of the event, which took place on 27 March 2025 in Erlangen. C&S Computer und Software GmbH and nine other TEAM-X consortium partners will present the results of their research work and the opportunities offered by a data room – on site at Fraunhofer ISS in Erlangen and via livestream. Among the innovations presented was C&S's Gaia-X-compatible digital care platform MCD.
Augsburg, 27 March 2025 ‘What if Gaia-X becomes a game changer in healthcare?’ We asked ourselves this question and spent 39 months researching this topic based on Gaia-X technology. The presentation of the results of our work and the opportunities this opens up for the European Health Data Space (EHDS) met with great interest from the professional public throughout the entire project," says Bruno Ristok, project manager at consortium partner C&S Computer und Software GmbH, summarising the results. C&S will present its Gaia-X-compatible digital care platform MCD at the event. This includes, in the area of primary data use in long-term care, the integration between care and cure in the healthcare setting of the household and the connection to the telematics infrastructure. In the area of secondary data use, it includes a complete process – from the donation of data by citizens to the provision of data in the Federated Catalogue in the TEAM-X data room.
Independent control of data
With TEAM-X, we are addressing one of the most important issues of our time: the trustworthy handling of health data. With today's official entry into force of the EHDS Regulation, control over health data will play an even more important role in the future. This will involve increased secondary data use and data exchange within the framework of healthcare services throughout the EU. TEAM-X has developed innovative solutions that make this data exchange easy and secure.

The research and development project will conclude with a closing event on 31 March 2025.
